"The restaurant was already good on our previous visits. However, it is now exceptional. We ate 3 times at the restaurant on our recent stay. Japanese Italian fusion works really well. The mackerel appetizer, beef cheek main and truffle ice cream where highlights. Nice bar for a drink at the end of a skiing day. Delicious breakfasts too (porridge and eggs are perfectly cooked). "OMG. The food here is amazing. It's Italian Japanese fusion which sounds scary but soooo works. Think Tetsuya Wakuda but Italian instead of French. "The bar and restaurant was a friendly, social hub - at breakfast time and again in the evenings, where long term friendships were made.  The food was faultless. Fresh continental choices with eggs to order and accompanying sides from the kitchen to start the day - all with a freshly prepared ILLY coffee, then top class, internationally inspired menu choices for dinner - but the seven course degustation menu for Christmas dinner literally took the cake, being the best restaurant meal I've ever had - in travels all around the world! " Trevor S -  Australia
