Chuo Taxi is a great option, especially if you come in on later flights. This is a shared taxi service, that will take about 5 hours to get to Hakuba.

Depending on the number of people in your group you may have to share. Picking you up from outside arrivals, you'll stop a couple of times for food and toilet breaks on the way up. Once in resort you'll and other travels will be dropped off in turn.
